FUNTUNFUNEFU-DENKYEMFUNEFU Adinkra Symbol is a part of the cultural symbols of the Asante people of West African in the former kingdom of today’s Côte D’Ivoire. "Siamese crocodiles" is the symbol of democracy and unity.

It takes a village! Please join us in building a strong foundation for the success of our African American Students. 

We believe parent, family, and communities are essential to student success. 

African American Parent Advisory Council:

  • A friendly space to learn about district issues, share concerns, and identify solutions;
  • Use your voice to shape and influence district policies and programs;
  • Address needs and opportunities as a community; and 
  • Be a part of the District Parent Advisory Council hosted monthly by the Superientendent. 

Meetings:  Every month starting in October (no meetings: December, July, & August)
